I also have a Buckmark micro with the bull barrel. I thought it was better looking than the Ruger. It has been completely reliable and shoots whatever I put in it. I installed Williams Firesights front and rear. It is very accurate. I probably have 2500 rounds thru it with no problems.
I just picked up a Ruger SuperBlackhawk .44mag. Blued w/7-1/2 inch barrel. Like new, I was told it only had 12 rounds put thru it. The front of the cylinder doesn't even have the telltale rings on it. The serial # is 8284339. I know it's not very old but, can anyone tell me how old it is? I paid...

Savage 24F
I have a Savage Model 24F in 30-30/20ga. It is very accurate. I'm in the process of putting a scope on it, I haven't tried it yet with the scope. It is a bit heavy but, not that bad. I see them on the gun auction sites and occaisionally at my local Mom&Pop sporting goods store. They...
I'll join. I have an 1894c .38/.357 that I bought new last year. $449 + tax. I love it. The grandkids shoot it occasionally when they want to try something a little more powerful than the 10/22 they usually shoot. I put Williams sights on it and enjoy tearing up paper targets and frozen water...
Nem. You know that I agree with your selection, I did the opposite. Bought the 1894c last year. Then decided earlier this year to buy the 336a. I love them both and still think it was a wise selection.:D
I'm 49 yrs old. Well for a couple more months anyway. Retired from one of the michigan based car companies after 30+ yrs. Now working for my oldest son.

I only have 7 firearms but that's enough. I don't need a big collection, but I was buying 1...

The taller front site I bought is a Williams Gold Bead Code# 1648
WGB-343M / 1/16" bead
I talked to a Williams Tech and he told me that this sight should work fine with the new rear sight. I told him that I wanted one that I could still use with the front hood. He said that this...
I finally had some time to spend with my SP101 last weekend. I love this revolver!! It shoots well. I need some practice with it but, so far I'm impressed. :D
Spent some time making holes in paper last night with the 336. I had put a new Williams WGRS sight on. I couldn't adjust it low enough. Now I'm ordering a new taller front sight from Williams so that I can get it adjusted for height. I love the rifle but I've got a little work to do to make it...
I now have both a 1894c .357 and a 336a in 30-30. I wouldn't part with either one of them for the same reasons already mentioned. Oh, I also have a Blackhawk in .357 to go with the 1894. My suggestion would be to get one of each. :)
