    Business courtesy?

Move on. I run into this with small businesses all the time and it's one of my pet peeves. If I am actively trying to throw my money at someone's small business, you'd think they would jump at the chance, especially in this economy. Nope, 90% of the time I get no response or a cancellation an...

    Which 9mm would you choose?

If it feels good in your hand, I'd go with the glock. Not a fan of the ergos myself but mine were always reliable. Also, you can buy just about any glock part you need. Finding holsters and accessories is easy. Can't say the same about some other manufacturers/product lines.

    Grip Safety issues?

I was never a fan of a grip safety. Really is unnecessary if you follow basic firearm safety and it's just an additional part that can break or interfere with me firing my weapon when I need to.

    GA and the Aquarium

+1 on Atlanta. If you're dead set on traveling to the Atlanta area for whatever reason, I suggest you steer clear of the city itself. Underground Atlanta, above-ground Atlanta, Marta, and pretty much any other place in the city you're likely to go are magnets for local thugs looking to start...

    Buying new 9mm tomorrow

M&P was a good choice. You said it feels better to you and that's huge in the long run. S&W has great warranty service should the need ever arise.

    Good IWB for Ruger SR9c?

+1 on the Comp-Tac MTAC. Great company to deal with and fast production.

Someone talk me down from a semi-custom 1911 purchase

Ok, let me preface this by saying I've been around the block a few times when it comes to handguns. I've had a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with the 1911 but it just won't stop calling to me. Now I'm in the market for a new .45 acp semi-auto and I happen to be in a position where I can...

Debunking “you're more likely for a gun used against you”

My response to anyone that parrots that rediculous garbage at me is to break contact. While it may not be the case, that cliche statement just reeks of cowardice and a weak personality/mind, to me. Not to mention that they clearly don't think very much of you if they're saying that to you. I'll...

What's your overall favorite brand of handgun?

Have to go with Glock. No awards for ergonomics, but I love the fact that the design is simple, I can easily aquire spares for any of the small parts, and it is designed to be a tool (everything I need, nothing I don't, no feature creep here!). Plus, they offer multiple frame sizes in a large...

Who got you interested in shooting?

I'm going to have to go with the A-Team. I grew up in a family of moderate Democrats. I was the only one with any interest in firearms. The other kids in the neighborhood wanted to be astronauts or firemen when they grew up, I wanted to be "a sniper". Kind of surprised they weren't more...

Friend Refuses to be reference on CCW Application

This guy would not only cease to be my friend, he and his family wouldn't be having contact with my children ever again. Let him poison his own children's minds with his retarded, illogical philosophies. I have friends that aren't into guns, that's fine. However, anyone that tells me I shouldn't...

Just Applied for My CCW Permit.

16 weeks? Let me guess, Cobb county? When I applied for mine they told me 4 months too. It arrived in my mail box four months later to the day. Seems pretty clear to me that they are just sitting on them to discourage people from applying. Especially since other counties in GA get permits to the...

Usual anti liberal AJC editorial BUT

Sadly, this is typical of the AJC. I'm thoroughly convinced that it is one of the worst papers in the country. I used to have a subscription in the mid 90's (just for the local stuff), sometimes they couldn't even manage putting the pages in order. I'm kind of surprised they didn't turn this...
