"Gura tossed machineguns under the bus! What is he, a lawyer for the Bradys?!?"

I think y'all are misunderstanding me about dates of manufacture. I was speaking about class III's. I'll try to get around to looking it up.

"Gura tossed machineguns under the bus! What is he, a lawyer for the Bradys?!?"

Due to dates of manufacture, I'm pretty sure an M-4 would not be possible. Or am I misinformed?

Sign the Petition against the Assault Weapons Ban!

Pissed in the wind...I mean, signed the internet petition. Internet petitions lend even less credibility than hand signed ones handed in by Jesse Jackson.

If DC Loses:"We Go to Plan B" Say City Officials

I imagine there will be a rise in violent crimes in states surrounding D.C. within months of the ban being repealed. Criminals will see the rush by the citizenry to arm themselves and decide there's a lot safer places to make a living. Another thought: Can you imagine how many different...

    1858 Holster

DixieTexian, I have a whole pile of left handed holsters I didn't intend to make. I finally got tired of it, and labeled my pattern "left" on on side, and "right" on the other, so I wouldn't do it anymore. Damned if I didn't write "right" on the "left" side! I suppose there's a...

Merry Christmas to me with a SS 1858 ROA

Macmac, "Cool Factor" is relative. I think the Desert Eagle sorta looks cool, and there are only a very few instances where one would be useful. But Kodiaks and Cape Buffalo rarely invade my tent. Now, the Barret .50 cal, hehe, that thing is cool as hell, no matter how you look at it...

Merry Christmas to me with a SS 1858 ROA

Macmac, I always get a kick out of it when some four foot tall numbnuts tells me he was carrying a Desert Eagle in Iraq. Hell, I have decent sized hands, and they're a handful for me. Not to mention, the cool factor would wear off after I carried it a quarter of a mile.

Merry Christmas to me with a SS 1858 ROA

Macmac, My wife didn't think it was funny at ALL when I unscrewed the lightbulb in the bathroom and left the plunger in the toilet. :what: (She had pissed me off) No laughs from the celophane over the toilet, either.

Recommend a good IPSC DVD to help with movement

Fast is smooth, smooth is fast. Practice EVERYTHING. Dry firing, trigger reset, drawing, sight aquisition, mag changes, failures, etc. Even have a buddy help you with a FUBAR drill. Gun jam, FTE, dropped magazine, etc, all in one session. Wilson combat's free video had some good pointers...

M1 Garand- Still on Duty 2007

Funny. They're still screwing around trying to find another platform to launch tiny little bullets, but too proud to re-issue an old standby that works! :what: Idiots.
