when I put the pictures on here you will see what i mean

they would stamp the importer on the action. on the mag plate is the only place it says rem 223.The stock is custom made. because you can see in three places it was over cut on the checkering pattern. my next door neighbor is a gun smith and he says only the action is a bauska.

My gun is a take down and all the serial # match they are on the butt plate (steel) back of shoulder on the stock in front of trigger gaurd and on the inside of fore grip safety is on the lever (slides forward @ 1/4")
