My P89 and P95 both shoot accurately and spot on with the Federal 135 grain Hydra shocks. I generally shoot WWB 115 grain for practice. Shoot the same spot with either.

Read #4 carefully. That notch in the bottom of the slide is hard to see until you get used to field stipping the P89.
The retainer doesn't come all the way out. It comes out far enough to let the slide move forward.

I have a P89 I love. Have shot a friends P95 and it is a great gun and has a better trigger than what a P89 has for DA pull.
Can't go wrong with either. If the P95 fits then go for it.

For the price and knowing I have shot most of what you have there. I would say that the P95 would be the one to enjoy.
The P226 is also a great 9mm to shoot.

I will provide children that learn to shoot hearing protection now. In the past I can't say that I did. Raised my kids and they all shoot and enjoy the sport as well as the hunting sports. They know guns make loud noises.

Honesty around here gets you called stupid pretty fast.
The majority of the folks in the neighborhood I grew up in never wore or used hearing protection. Other than standing well back from behind the shooter with mouth wide open.

I have shot a lot of time in the years that it took me to gain the age of 50.
Ear plugs for indoor ranges.
Never used them myself from childhood to my present age at an outdoor range.
Does that mean I shouldn't have a right to shoot?
Shot a lot of magnum rifles and such without problems...
