Your wish is my command...
So since you think that pushing a round out of the magazine slows the slide significantly, why don't you elaborate on how much it does. I would also like to comment that replying to a four year old thread is A-OK... This is the Internet and it's fine to add to old...
Here's a flame suit on for you:
Any gun that you can't release the slide on an empty chamber is defective or unsuitable for self defense.
So all of you fellas with $1000 1911's, etc that are tricked out and can't have the slide released on an empty chamber without risk of damaging them...
That's a bad analogy... Everyone knows exactly why popping the clutch on a car causes damage to the transmission. Releasing the slide on an empty chamber does virtually nothing to the parts of firearm.
Sorry to drag this backup again...
I think it's a completely bogus assertion that releasing the slide on an empty chamber will cause any substantial damage to a defensive firearm.
If anyone disagrees I would like to know the exact mechanics of what you believe will cause damage, and a real...
Why didn't you ask...
If this happened to me I would probably get pissed and confront the owner with a statement like:
What the hell do you mean you DON'T want them? Last time I was in here you said you did, and now you're dicking around with me...
Any reason you didn't do something to...
This is the "dumbest thing" I've done... I had two identical 9mm Omni-llama's and went to the range to test them out.
Maybe I had been watching too many action movies, but I decided load up my last two clips and fire them both at the same time. Definitely not accurate, but it was fun until...
I would probably add a side mount plate for a scope, a 75round drum, and some tactical rails. :D
With the folding stock you have it should have clearance for at least the plate.
Yes I'm a big troll, how did you guess? I've been trying to keep it secret from humans for years!
I posted the 1200rd continuous firing test to give an example of just how much ammo you're actually firing without cleaning. I didn't say the failure was caused by fowling... but what...
Here is my wonderful opinion:
DON'T USE A SCOPE ON THE SKS!!!
First of all, any scope you find is going to be JUNK... and even if you do manage to find something good, what's it going to attach to? The Rear housing!!! Which is unstable as a scope mount.
The iron sights are much better! :D
Thanks for the clarification... I missed that and wasn't too sure what he was talking about. I really didn't want a wall hanger, and would probably only consider one if it was a Savage Navy Revolver or something along that order. :D
You're not talking about he T53 Mosin Nagants are you? They were listed on the website as being in FAIR condition. FAIR does not equal POOR or WALL HANGER...
If they're in POOR condition I would like my check returned.
Since I clean my firearms regularly, that would be kinda of hard wouldn't it? :neener:
I did have a thunder-five stop working on me while it was in my hands. I put enough ammo through it in one session that lead/powder residue built up, which prevented the cylinder from turning correctly...
