I can make it look like it did when the box was first opened.
I see that you are way up north, and I am less then 70 miles from our southern border
I see many answers here, that are correct.

My bluing is second to none, and affordable.
what caliber is the rifle is the first question?
There is a good wildcat based on the 300 savage cartridge. Savage also made the 99 in 308, the 270/308 has had good things written of it.
Using a 99 Unless it is on the box mag model, if you do not match the shell to the rotary mag, the...
the pin in question is a solid pin.
The left end may be slightly rounded so a cupped end punch could be used, but I have found for myself that short punches to get it started give me the needed control of the punch, along with the power to make the pin move at first.
A good bench a good bench block,
and then
The harder the pin is to move, use shorter pin punches.
When I have a hard pin to move I start with a punch that is shorter then 1/4 inch, after the pin has moved I move up in length.
The pin in the KAHR K9's I have wroked on are tight from...
If you happen to be in or near Tucson, AZ. and have a Vanguard, Howa or Smith&Wesson, that has the poor feeling trigger, give me a try,

When removing A pinned FH, grind as deep a needed to find the the pin(s) once you can clearly see that you are past the weld, turn the FH forward and back just a little each way until the pins raise up and sometimes fall out then unscrew the FH.
