HK 45C, Glock 36, XD-S .45, commander sized 1911 are all great choices.

I carry my 1911 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II - disappears under an untucked shirt. I was always an OWB guy, (and still prefer it when I can) but an IWB rig like the SS2 just conceals better.
