As I recall, only Federal 16's were purple. Winchesters were red and Remingtons black or green. I'd prefer all 16's to be a unique color just for sorting purposes.

A 3" S&W Model 65 is the most recent purchase. I haven't bought the last one yet. :)

Primary carry now is a S&W 638 in .38 Special. It's the largest caliber I have in a pistol small enough to carry in a pocket holster. It's much too hot for cover garments 6-8 months out of the year around here.

The Ruger Super Single-Six is a fine single-action revolver IMO.
