IMHO, J-frames belong in a pocket, in a pocket holster. If it's cool enough for me to wear a cover garment, I carry a .357 K-frame or a .40 SIG in a belt holster.
As I recall, only Federal 16's were purple. Winchesters were red and Remingtons black or green. I'd prefer all 16's to be a unique color just for sorting purposes.

Primary carry now is a S&W 638 in .38 Special. It's the largest caliber I have in a pistol small enough to carry in a pocket holster. It's much too hot for cover garments 6-8 months out of the year around here.
