Another one using Hoppe#9 and Break Free CLP here. For some of the smaller carbon/junk fouled parts, and my AR-15 I'll use WalMart brake cleaner. Followed it up with a quick scrub, then oil. I'm contemplating picking up some of the Break Free brand foaming bore cleaner for my Garands.

Yuck. That would drive me nuts. I understand why the owner did it, but he apparently got a little carried away with it. RNB65 has the answer, complain to the owner and recruit your fellow shooters in this as well. You could find a new range, but for many of us that's not a realistic option.
