This S&W 442 Airweight was featured in the Nov/Dec 2008 issue of American Cop.
I am trying to find out who did or who does the dovetailing for the front sight. I contacted the magazine and they were no help whatsoever.
I don't want to paint my sights or get a red ramp insert, I want...
Not hard at all...rough removal with Dremel, finish with fine emery. When desired results are there put black Kiwi shoe polish on and buff with a Dremel polishing wheel. I also removed my finger grooves.
I have one on my G27 that I wear at AIWB with a Saf-T-Block. The Glock is a little thick for comfy IWB. I am waiting on an Alessi APX for my 442. If that doesn't work, I'll get a CD for it.
I have an interest in seeing Wicked Grips branch out and make Damascus grips for the S&W J Frame. Mainly my 442. IMO this type of grip on a J Frame would be extremely popular and would pair up well with a Tyler T-Grip. What do you think?
If you agree (or if you don't) can you please send...
I waffled over a KT or a 442. I went with the 442 and it's extremely reliable. KT's have to many problems with reliabilty for me to trust it.
The Ruger LCP is something I may consider after the dust settles on them.
