The problem with the improper use of grammar and incorrectly spelled words is that anyone who is anti-gun uses things like that to 'prove' gun owners are backwoods hicks.

I've had one for a few years now. The handle fits my hand perfectly and the blade is razor sharp.

2500+ rounds through my SOCOM with no failures to feed or any other malfunctions. Here is a 100yd. group I shot earlier in the year using Aussie surplus and iron sights.

After purchasing my SOCOM last November I did a very detailed 2500 round accuracy/reliability check on the rifle. During this time I shot every brand of ammo I could find, including S. African, Aussie, Portugal, etc. I had absolutely NO failures to feed of any kind with any of the ammo tested...

The August 2004 American Rifleman chrono'd numerous rounds out of the SOCOM and the velocity loss is not as great as most people think it would be.

It seems to be in fashion right now to bash everything Springfield Armory makes. I've had several pistols and rifles from them and they have all been great. No complaints here. :)

About 15 feet out my back door to my own 25 yd. pistol range. I can also do limited rifle shooting here out to about 100 yds. Otherwise the local range is about 30 minutes away. :)

I've had my SOCOM now for a couple of weeks and it's been totally reliable with everything I've fed it (Portuguese, S. African, Australian, and even some Winchester Silvertips). I have slow fired it, I have fired it as fast as I can pull the trigger, and I have fired it for accuracy off a bench...

The South African stuff is a s good as most imported ammo. I wouldn't get too upset with that dealer, a majority are just like that. It's rare when you get one of the good ones. :rolleyes:
