Others have mentioned the LC9 a few times already. It is a great choice. It carries well in a pocket and disappears IWB. 7+1 9mm with a quick reload is not bad at all. I own a Glock subcompact (33) and a j-frame (340 pd) and have carried them all, but the LC9 is currently my go-to piece...

I also have one that serves as my nightstand gun (with TLR-1 attached). I picked it up in 2007 and have been very happy with it.

I think the offer is very reasonable. I doubt a Smith would have lasted as long either...

I have the Taurus and haven't had any problems yet, but I still wish I would have spent a few bucks more and gotten the Smith...

I have the Glock and am quite happy with it, but I like the XD line a lot too (have an XD45 service). If I didn't already have the Glock when the XD subcompacts came out, I probably would have gone with the XD40.
