+1 on the Glock 26. Its a great gun, reliable, parts are readily available, accurate, corrosion resistant, cost efficient, points easily, mags are cheap, and much more.

I own a few of both. I still prefer my Glocks over my XDs. But it all really comes down to choice and personal preference. BOTH guns will work great for you no matter which one you choose. Or you can do like I did and by both lolololol.

As for the KB issues... usually it is caused by improper reloading or bullet setback. Never had any KBs with my Glock 23 or my two Glock 27s. Other guns have KBed before too. It is not only Glocks.

Glock 27 for me. I ended up buying two of them lol. One for CCW and another one for backup purposes. Just pick whatever you are comfortable with. All three guns are great. My brother loves his XD subcompacts.

I love my Glocks. Just get whatever YOU feel comfortable with. I own XDs, HKs, Glocks, a Baby Eagle, and a few other handguns... but for me... my Glocks fit my hands the best and I shoot them well. But everyone is different... so go out and shoot a bunch of different guns and figure out what...
