has anyone used the federal LE13300 #00 ( 1145 fps ) in a semi auto?

The DPMS 308 LR is a heavy rifle, more for bench shooting. The AP4 pretty sure weighs in at about 7lbs. I have been looking at the AP4 for a while now. One day I'll break down and get one.

Ammunition to go has been out of the federal low recoil 00 for about a couple of months. I was going to get some but waited to long. I did get quite a bit of the Federal full power and low recoil slugs though. They are out of those now too.

its my understanding that a 5 rd mag can be slightly modified to firt the mag well. Low prone,? I think it would be hard regardless, because of the parts protruding from the bottom ( pistol grip, magazine ) I also am almost positive the drum cannot be used with the magwell as we see it in the...

I can understand why people with saiga's would want high capacity magazines, but I think the 12 rd mags are to long.
