Some of the M&P & Sheild pistols by Smith & Wesson have the mag disconnect. I'm not sure where all they're for sale, but I know that they're the California compliant models.
Typically if I'm going out and about without a belt, and want to carry something more than just a pocket-380, I'll use one of these: http://wrbsales.com/products/91-waistband-holster.aspx. My wife got me started on these, as she used them for jogging. It's quite comfortable as long as you've got...
The trouble with the Sigs is that their slides aren't the same shape as other 1911's. They are more squared off, which means they won't fit some of the standard 1911 holsters. They are nice guns, but a bit of a pain to find a holster for.
I've been quite happy with mine. It's much more comfortable for me to shoot than the P3AT or the LCP. I haven't had any malfunctions, and I can shoot it much more accurately than I expected for such a small gun.
My 8 round magazines seem to be a little more ammo picky than the 7 round mags I've got. Two of my 8 round magazines don't always play nice with hollow point ammunition.
I have a K9 and my wife has a CW9. We've been very happy with our Kahr pistols. I feel for folks who haven't had the same success we have, but I gladly recommend them to folks looking for concealed carry pistols. Among my group of friends there are another three or four Kahr pistols, not a...
I work with kydex. Could you describe to me how you're trying to modify your cell holster? If I can be of help, I'm certainly willing to give it a try.

These hybrid holsters aren't that expensive, and are well-made. I've had both the LC9 & the CW9 (and a K9), and no, the holsters aren't interchangeable. But for the price, it's well worth buying additional holsters for each one that you...
I, too, have 100's of rounds thru my LC9 without any problems like you're describing. Call Ruger. Their customer service seems to do a good job making things right.
Starship Troopers was a great book. Some interesting concepts on societal discipline. I'm generally a fan of Heinlein's writing. "An armed society is a polite society."
Nothing new, here, but I'm a firm believer that anyone trustworthy enough to be re-admitted to civil society is trustworthy enough to possess firearms. Many of the people currently being readmitted to civil society don't pass this test. I don't want violent offenders to have access to weapons...
Check out d.m. Bullard (located in Azel) http://www.dmbullardleather.com/, and Butscher's leather (http://www.ButschersLeather.com/ in Plano. I've got holsters from both of these guys, and they both do custom, made-to-order stuff, at reasonable prices.
Don't know what part of the republic you're in, but I know some good leather shops in the dfw area, which are likely to hit your budget, and deliver top quality.
A buddy of mine has a 10/22 with a suppressor built into the barrel. Just looks like a heavy barrel, but it's quiet as an air rifle (or quieter, actually) with full-power 22 lr loads. For example: click here.
Tough to say without seeing the gun. You should look it up in the Blue Book of Gun Values. That's a pretty standard pricing reference. Though not perfect for all markets, it should give you a good approximation for the value of the gun on the open market. I wouldn't offer any more than the Blue...
