wow. i really only joined this site for the gunsmithing section, but now i'm starting to wonder if i even want to do that anymore. I understand people have their own values, and basis for religion, but i find it morally/ethically WRONG for you to push those beliefs onto me.

still not sure on the age of it, but we've decided what we're going to do with it. we're going to knock off the rust with some 0000 steel wool (that's super fine and the finest grade you can get) and then plate it with satin nickel. then we'll redo the wood on it....

So a buddy is giving me an old winchester lever action 30/30. It has some rust. not pitting, but not surface rub off either. It looks like it used to be a stainless type finish, ie: bare metal. so... i'm wanting to refinish it of course. my question is this. do i want to go with like a 600 grit...

by the end of 2009 they won't. it's a gradual phase out. try carrying your weapon into a walmart. conceal it, but leave an obvious imprint. They also pay money out in donations to the brady campaign.

you shouldn't be buying ammo from walmart to begin with. they are anti-gun.
