I have a M1 Garand stock with only the circle "P" under the pistol grip and several alphabet letters back of that. I know what these represent but I do not know for positive what the numbers on the stock represent parallel to the butt plate. I'm guessing they are rack numbers??????
Thanks guy's
I think I only paid about $160 for it and have enjoyed the refinishing aspect of it. I do all my woodwork myself. Good hobby and good therapy. Thanks again.
I have a Marlin 30A Glenfield 30-30 which I recently refinished stock and forearm. Bluing is in about 90%. Stamped engraving is also about 85%. I must say the refinish is beautiful. What's it worth?
Prvious post
In a previous post I asked if I was the only one to carry a Browning BDA 380. It's very comfortable for me and carry's 13 rounds. If you don't thinks it's powerful enough, try using hollowpoints i9n it. With an extra magazine I carry 26 rounds.
I have a Marlin Glenfield 30-30 Lever action. Am looking for date of manufacture. There are no letters preceeding the serial number and at a loss as to when this rifle was made. I haven't been very successful contacting Marlin. What they have sent hasn't been too helpful.
