I think I'll wait until the bugs, if any, are worked out of the LC9 and then given them a try. For the price of the LC9 v. the others you could have a LC9 and NY reload (throw down the empty gun and grab a loaded gun from your other pocket)

"What other reasons, besides the lock, make the pre-lock more desirable?" Nostalgia for the good old days when everything was made better. The pre lock guns can be a good bargain. A lot of it is snobbery and politics. I guess I'm one of those snobs. The internal lock guns are just uncool.

check out Trail Boss Pros: fluffy "cheerios" shape so it fills the case and makes a double charge very obvious. Even a double charge will be low power. Cons: so fluffy that you don't get a whole pound in a regular 1 lb. jug. Still super cheap compared to buying factory ammo though...

I stand. My antifatigue mat is some double thick bubble wrap that is about 3X6 feet. Works well for me. I have the press high enough that I barely have to bend my knees on the downstroke. I'll probably raise the press a bit to get it to a more comfortable height.
