Bicycle handgun carry on bike paths...

I carry a Kel-Tec P-3AT for bicycling and walking. I have two of them and they have both been very reliable. A good grip is very important with the small Kel-Tecs. BTW, at least 75% of the negative posts about the P-3AT at KTOG were from the same person who just wouldn't shut up about it...

How does everyone here feel about their Kel-Tec pistols?

ScottD, Welcome to The High Road. :) I own two P-32's, a P-11, two P-40's, and two first generation P-3AT's. I did a minor fluff and buff on all of them before shooting them for the first time. The only problems I had with the P-3AT's were they needed a little breaking in at the first...

Do You Buy New Or Used?

Most of my guns were bought used except for my P-3AT. Most things I buy for myself I buy used. Even my wife was a trade-in, but I got a really good deal on her. Rick

Bedside gun: why I don't keep a round in the chamber

I use a small gun vault on the nightstand. It also gives me a place to stash the extra mags I keep handy in case I get a serious home invasion coming at me. Rick

    Generation 2 - Kel-Tec P3AT Range Report

I have one or two of just about every pistol Kel-Tec has made. I agree that you have to keep them clean and well lubed. One hundred rounds at one sessoin with my P-3AT would be too much for me. I can do that with my P-11 because the grip is larger and my Hogue Handall Jr. helps a lot. You...

    keltec 3AT hardcrome question

When sending a slide to Kel-Tec for exchange it is best to call their customer service and check supply. No use having yours sit there for a couple of weeks while they wait for new hard chrome ones to come in. Rick

Kel-Tec .380, what are the FACTS?

I've been a Kel-Tec owner for several years. I have two P-40's, a P-11, and purchased a P-3AT last month. I'm a member of KTOG and KTrange. You will find a world of useful information at both of those sites. Kel-Tecs might require a little extra prepping out of the box, but it's nothing...

    Rumsfeld caught lying yet again...

Excuse me, but I don't see how "brazen lie" applies. When Rumsfeld had used the word "immediate" he was referring to biological weapons that he "knew" were in Iraq. Perhaps he was referring to a nuclear threat when he said he hadn't said imminent or immediate. Rumsfeld was baited into...

    Hi-Point Carbine

I noticed people commenting on the Hi-Point carbine's accuracy. It is amazingly accurate with the factory sights, and even better with my cheap red dot scope. Rick

    Hi-Point Carbine

Ah, check your weapon again - it doesn't say Kel-Tec, it says K-Tel, right next to the "as seen on TV" sticker. Honestly, I have heard of some handle problems on the Kel-Tec Subs, and some rough finishing issues too. I still like my Kel-Tec P-40 though. Rick

    Hi-Point Carbine

Nothing wrong with the Kel-Tec Subs, but I still like my Hi-Point carbine. Wish they made it in .40 S&W. Rick

Just recieved a reply from Sen. Bill Nelson on the AWB

OUCH! McCollum is an honest idiot it appears. He does want existing gun laws enforced, but also has an eye for new legislation that is all fluff and panders to the anti gun folks. Trouble is, Nelson is no friend either, and I'd really like to send him into early retirement. Rick
