I have a 60 year old K-22 that I shoot every week. It is by far the most accurate .22 hand gun that I own, and the most fun to shoot. I have owned and shot Single-sixes. but there just isn't any comaprison, to me.

I used a Black and Decker Workmate for a while. Worked well for me. You can either clamp the loader to the top, or better yet make a separate top with a clete screwed onto the bottom, that can be grasped by the workmate jaws.
Handloader magazine is a pretty good mag. I subscribed to it for many years.
