I've had one two years and love it. I use my own reloads for practice, and either Buffalo Bore 158 gr +P SWCHP's (1000 FPS) or Speer 135 gr +P JHP. The Remington FBI load ain't bad either - 158 gr SWCHP +P at about 850 fps.

+1 for a S&W 3913. I have a Ladysmith 3913 that I carry often. +2 for a SIG P225. Many P6's, although they're virtually identical to a P225, have a differently configured feed ramp that's designed for strictly FMJ's and will choke on most hollowpoints.

I finally got the thing disassembled. There's some serious peening around the "collar" of the firing pin - that has to be what's wrong, everything else looks OK. Ordered one from LugerDoc. Thanks again!

The crown on my three-year-old 637 looks virtually identical to yours. Someone who's a FAR better shot than I am put three of three Speer 135 gr +P Gold Dots into the X at 25 yards with it, single action. Mine tend to be minute of pie-plate at 7 yards. :p
