Use a chamber brush. Its thicker than a bore brush and works a lot better in cylinders. If you can't find a chamber brush use a .40 or.45 bore brush instead.
I like Case knives. They are made right here in Pennsylvania. My everyday carry knives are Trappers or canoes.
I have bought alot on Ebay. You can also try Case Knife Outlet. They have a bunch of Case Knives.
I have one in .38/.357. It's a blast to shoot. I even conceal carry it sometimes in a Mernickle holster. I would like to buy another one when I have the bucks.
I carry a S&W 12-2 with a 2" barrel as well as a Colt Cobra. They both hold six rounds and are good shooters. I carry them either IWB or OWB with no problems. I think a model 10 would be good to carry also.
I have alot of old Smith & Wessons and some new ones. The new ones shoot every bit as good as the old ones. If you can live with the lock I wouldn't worry.
Not boot grips but I have a pair from handgungrips.com on my cobra. They are full size grips that look nice on her. I can pocket carry the cobra in the jeans I bought from LL Bean.
