I have the varmint and it is heavy...Im getting it cut down to 20 since Im gonna gonna get a can for it, and I have read a lot about the shorter barrel being stiffer and better at long ranges.
Ive always heard shoot only 223 in a gun chambered in 223 but 556 will shoot both.
The barrel for my new ar build is chambered in 223 Wylde and will shoot either
Cases are slightly different between a 223 and 556
I really don't have enough dealings with them to form any kind of opinion of them. There are bad people among all walks of life, and among all professions.
I have an AR that I built on a double star lower with a Del Ton upper kit.
It has the M4 clone barrel that is a DTI(which I heard was actually a Wilson combat barrel) chrome lined. It is a flat top with a detachable carry handle.
It has never been fired at all.
I would like to try to...
Did I say they were junk? no
Did I tell the OP to avoid them? no
They are fun to shoot and very tough but they do not have the fit and finish that some rifles do
Unbind your panties guys
AK and quality shouldnt be in the same sentence..haha
They are good for what they are made for...I have a few of them.A WASR 10 and an SAR-3 and getting a few more
Ive seen it a few times..
The part where the guy says that if all hell broke loose he would want an AK-47
my wife said "Do you have any of those?" yep
I enjoyed it but then again I enjoy 95% of whats on the Military channel
