I had a chance to play around with a scandium S&W (Hammer 1.75")...loved it. It is the only gun I've ever carried that I could put in a pocket and forget is was there.
It will bark with .357. I'm not especially offended by handgun recoil. I thought it was fine with .38s. I shot a box of 50...
I would look at a CZ550...love the set trigger. Like the claw extractor. I also like the safety (Aside from the fact that it works backwards). Their accuracy is great.
That said, I have a M700...it's a nice gun. It just doesn't make my heart beat like the CZ.
Try Colorado or NM. Both offer excellent opportunities. Probably bigger bulls in NM, but more opportunity in CO.
