24 gr 4320 was my accuracy load with 80gr Nosler match bullets for Highpower.
Used the same charge for 55-69gr bullets as I did not want change my powder measure.
I have one in 9mm. Good pistol, absolutely 100% reliable.
Trigger sucks? I practice with mine and would not change it.
It gets some getting used to. The heavy trigger allows for safe carry without a safety.
Most get cleaned after every range session. My Franken AR hasn't been cleaned in 2 years, >5000 rounds steel cased ammo, just some lube before shooting. Will clean it when it chokes. Still going strong.
I have used the 220gr rn on deer in the past. Killed 'em the same as 190, 180, 165, 150, and 125gr 30 cal bullets. Used them because I have had them for over 30 years and never tried them.
I worked up some loads for Bulls Eye competition. Started with 3.5gr Bullseye and 200gr SWC. Very mild and accurate load but would not always cycle my 1911 with a 16 lb recoil spring. Had to swap it out for a 12 lb spring.
75 gr AMAX won't fit in magazine. 75 and 77gr hp will nicely. Some 1-9 twist will stabilize 75gr hp. 24" barrel will help. Need to try them. 24gr Varget or Reloder 15 or TAC should work. Work up to this however.
I have reloaded more than 5000 Wolf/Tula 223 cases without issue. Some will get neck splits on the first reload and others will go 10 reloads without problem. Steel does not seem to stretch like brass. Wipe the grit off the cases and there will be no wear on your dies, at least none that I have...
