    Ruger LCP vs EC9S?

I carry an original LCP front pocket every day and it truly does disappear. Cannot do that with any compact 9 that I know of. Even the LCP II and Plus are not as easy to carry. Yup, 380 is not ideal, but it's decent for the goodness of always having a firearm. Mine has been totally reliable thus...

FEG Hi Power clone. Should I?

I've had 2 FEG hi-power clones and they were excellent handguns, very much on par with a Browning, minus the finish. Just make sure it is the HP clone and not the "close clones" that FEG also makes/made (the DA one or slide safety one, may be good guns, but not a HP nor parts exchange).

    Happiness is a new CZ

I had a CZ PCR that I fairly recently sold and I DO REGRET IT. Just was looking for something different and I let it get away from me. Very nice little pistols. I do like the feel of the full-size CZ-75 better than the compacts, but man, what a great handgun.

Diff with bearman and bond arms

I have a BA Patriot in 410.45LC that I've had for awhile and a buddy has a Snake Slayer in same. I just recently got a Roughneck in 45ACP and I must say, with the exception of the frame finish, the built quality is the same. At least to my eyes. The difference, according to Bond Arms, is just...

Bernardelli SX801L fron CDNN? Mag tubes?

I'm thinking about purchasing one of these shotguns from CDNN ($399). They seem like a great deal with ported barrel and 4 extended trulock chokes. Does anyone have experience with these shotguns? Do you know if extended mag tubes are available or if other brands fit them?

    3.5 Glock trigger causing FTF?

I just installed a Lone Wolf 3.5 trigger connector in my G-26 and a friends G-34. We went shooting the other day and the G-34 had many (maybe 10-11 out of 100 rounds) failures to feed. This gun had not been previously fired (bought new) and I was a bit surprised at a Glock having these issues...

    Lahti L35 photos posted

Here's to "Cold Case" High Road. I agree, this looks closer in concept to the Ruger Mk1 than the Luger does. There must be some biographical material covering this. I would love to get my hands on a Lahti. (Please, no Starbucks jokes....)

    .270 ok for varmints?

Is the 270 acceptable for small varmint hunting, like prairie dogs, gophers, etc. Or is it too much?

    380=9mm?

Yes, I believe this is a handloading thread. I do not see why the 90gr bullets would not work in 9mm, but it would seem that the bullet profile might seem a bit odd compared to most standard 9mm specific bullets.

    The Defensive Makarov Revisited...

While I don't carry them very often, I feel totally comfortable, and well armed, carrying either of my 9x18 firearms:

    Most durable 9mm, .40 S&W and .45

Well, I see everyone is picking thier favorites, and they are all fine guns, and quite durable. But I can't believe, on a question of being most durable that the Ruger autopistols have not been mentioned. They are not my personal first-choice preference, but they are built like tanks.

FNP 45 who's got one yet?

Ed, in reality, you don't even notice it while your shooting. The only time it feels at all top-heavy is maybe when I'm changing out mags, but it's really not noticable.

FNP 45 who's got one yet?

Mine has a very smooth trigger. 100% reliable and laser accurate. It's all I could ask for.

Star Firestar M43 will not engage safety with the hammer down

The hammer must be cocked in order for the safety to engage on the star pistol, as well as most single action autos.
