I find that the high-pressure carb/brake cleaner works pretty well for me. And as others have said, you're probably never going to get all of it... I leave it for the fragrance... and the fact that I'm pretty sure at least parts of my stock are held together with cosmoline... ;)

Hi-Point. They are not comfortable in hand, look ugly as sin, and they just don't "do it for me" Also, any kind of pistol with external safeties. Stupid impediment to the usefulness of a sidearm, IMO.
