Everyone is stocking up on ammo because of prices, but what is the shelf life of ammunition.I have some 12 gauge shells that are in a ammo box (about 200) that are at least 20 years old. They look fine but would they still be reliable?

I got an unmarked box of these in a crate of reloading stuff I acquired. The case is stamped HP .223 5.56. the upper half of the bullet seems to be plastic,does anyone know what they are? I couldn't find anything like it on Google. Thanks BBJ

Pardon my ignorance , but if the decision were to go our way , would it really make a difference? Wouldn't state and local laws still rule? For instance the AWB went away but it made no difference in New Jersey.

Is there a way to check to see if a firearm is reported as stolen before making a private non ffl purchase? Is there a data base that you can plug the serial # into and check?
