    S&W 32 Family Heirloom

Personally, I feel wear & tear is half the sentimental value of any heirloom. Getting it repaired would erase alot of the memories of the gun. I've got a 1920's era .22lr semi-auto Winchester (dunno what model) that was passed along from my great grandfather to my father (then to me). I've...

    Taurus Owners

I have had PT1911 since August. I havn't had many problems with it (other than the .45 being a hand cannon), but that was expected. Only have 300 rounds through it because .45 is expensive, and my college studies have kept me busy. Some people have problems with the ambi safety, mine's fine...

Which 9mm ammo would YOU buy?

Pow - I've had problems with them, but I've shot them for ages because I didn't know any better. I have an old semi-auto Winchester from the early 30's that has been gunked up and leaded by these rounds after less than a 100 or so rounds. I clean my guns often and carefully, and the fact that...

How would you spend $500 on a handgun

I keep seeing new $499 Beretta M92FSes. That's the plain jane one, but for what I've heard, Beretta quality is second to none and I like how my full-metal airsoft equivalent feels in my hand. 9mm (9x19) and is used in variety of guns. Decent recoil and power, but cheaper than 45ACP.

My ugly new 1991A1 Colt, (Blood damaged)

I think it is purdy. If you don't want it, I'll buy it from you for a reasonable price (and won't mind not going through a FFL). :D

What is the last gun that you bought?

My father bought (I was 15 5 years ago) and I paid for a Winchester Model 94 Ranger before they went out of production. I prefer it to any bolt action for hunting. It is short and is well balanced. I got used to 30-30 recoil and away I went. It drops deer in one shot and dead in...

    First handgun suggestions

I think I am leaning to a 92FS Inox, but I can't seem to find them at any of the dealers around here. Of two pistol ranges, Academy, and Gander Mountain...all they have is the black version. Any suggestions on how to get a new Inox?

    First handgun suggestions

I am new to this forum, but I am turning the magic age of 21 in a few months allowing me to buy booze and firearms (though I'm not much of a drinker.) I've been around firearms all my life and I range shoot intown with rental guns, but I am a bit confused on what I want to get as my first...
