It's a smaller show, and not the same people who put the one on in the little convention center in Shep., the guy who's putting this one on said he wants to have more gun tables than knives or other stuff, so it's hard to tell. He did have it twice before and they were decent albeit small shows.

Is there a way to blacken a stainless steel barrel? I have a storm lake barrel for my Glock 19 but I would like it to be black.

I use G17 mags wit +2 bases in my Glock 19, they work great gives me 19+1 rounds, when carrying concealed it's a 15rd G-19 in the gun and 2 of the G-17+2s in the mag pouches or pocket. I also have a 33rd mag that stays in the bedside table, just in case.

I love my Glock 19, stone cold reliable, more accurate than I am, definately a SHTF gun. But I shoot in some small competitions and the grip on the 19 is just a tad off, I'd like to stay poly frame so... how reliable/accurate are these 3 (I don't want to break the bank)

It's at Paroquet Springs Center, just off the highway (I forgot what exit off 65) but it's the one where the Kroger is instead of going right to Kroger you go left and follow that road back to where the hotel and "convention" center is. I'm guessing they will put signs out.

Got a response from the show promoters: The only show that we had to cancel was Frankfort, the Shepherdsville show is still on and so is the Owensboro it is still on as well.

Ahhh but is there a PT's or Deja Vu in the boro?

I haven't shot rifles very much and I haven't been a hunter (lived in DC 10 yrs) so I'm not familiar with whats available semi auto in .308. Obviously on the high end theres the Springfield and Browning BAR and Some semis based on assault rifles, are there any mid priced $400-500.00 semi .308s...

I may not be up to speed on the state of pep. spray technology, but if my or my family's lives are on the line I'll choose a dead bear over a mad/injured bear any day. I'll second that! I might recommend that she mount the pepperspray to the SKS and spay both at the bear, then she can tell us...
