I agree with u man. That's ridiculous I played ball until the end of high school when I destroyed my knee (I've had 5 surgeries on it know) I don't know if I could have played pro but I was good and no one thought I was suicidal. Almost sounds like they were trying to cover their butts instead...
We never know how we're going to react even if u are very experienced. There are men in the military that have been in a score of firefights and then just lose their nerve and freeze. Same thing with men in the old west.
I have been in quite a few brawls and fistfights, partially because I'm...
Well to be honest it has a variety of problems but some are. It "stovepipes" all the time. And sometime the claw won't pull the casing out of the chamber.
It was brand new and been cleaned a lot. And retail it was $1,100 but got for $900
I have a Kimber 1911 Custom Pro Aegis II with a 5 inch barrel in 9mm.
When I got it at the shop the salesmen told me that it's going to jam a bit at first until I put 300-400 rounds through it.
I have now put over 700 rounds through it and I don't think I have gone through a magazine...
I just bought Glock 26 3rd generation. $631 with tax (and Night Sights):)
I was looking at some jentra Inside the waistband clips, any personal experience with these or something you've heard? It is kind of like Mexican carry but I'm not that worried about it.
I bought an Uncle Mike's...
I think u should be fine. But give it a year or to, with some determination and experimenting your child will be able to rack the slide. My little brother is 4 and and he can completely field strip two of guns and I am teaching how to strip another one now (he does it all without any help from...
That's a good point just taking a test doesn't make you a "master" hunter but I never said that it did. But I do think that it helps with some people's thought process (some people that I and many of you have hunted with are very stupid) the thought that it might be a bad idea to shoot towards a...
Geez people lighten up all I was wondering is if you were planning on or have already signed up for the program.
So don't talk down to me like we would a mall ninja... (I love making fun of mall ninjas we need someone to start one again so I can get a good laugh)
For me signing up...
I agree with you 100% but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity at additional hunts and tags.;)
It is very strict policy on whether you are allowed this status or not. A friend of my dad's went shrimping got his limit and came back in to dock. And a park ranger was there and he hadn't yet...
+1
Very well put.:)
Government wants more power because power corrupts so by it's very nature people in government want more power not less, and citizens owning guns limits their power.:neener:
I got my master hunter kit in the mail a few days ago and am going to start working on the requirements for it.
I was wondering how many of my fellow T.H.R. members are Master Hunters or are most of you of the regular hunter status?
There are advantages to being a Master hunter and I want...
I feel safe at home but I feel even safer with my protection. Problems happen and you can't push pause run to the other side of the house grab a gun then run back and push play. When bad things happen I want my protection close.
Like you said the reason they talk down to Mossies is because they like the 870s..... I on the other hand can slander 870s all day long and praise the mossy.
It's just your personal preference.:)
I just shook mine real hard to check and no noise except for the slide just a little but that's to be expected. Maybe a slight clicking but not enough to give away your presence and you wouldn't be shaking it real hard anyway.
My Benneli makes a lot more noise. (but it's one of the best bird...
