    Reloading .45-70 Gov't

That's a bummer about your magazine tube. I've never had anything like that happen with mine. I wonder if some grit got on the tube and scratched it going in and out. That soft tube plus a little lube to attract dirt seems like could cause a problem. I'm sure Henry will fix it OK for you but the...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

I used a 6 foot Gladiator workbench for my latest reloading bench. I have the Inline Fabricating Quick change bench plates and docks to rotate my presses.

    Reloading .45-70 Gov't

I have a Henry 45-70 and it shoots fine with traditionally lubed .458 cast bullets. I started powder coating my cast bullets a couple of years ago and size them to .458 also. I'm not going back to regular lube. The coated bullets shoot very clean and don't smoke. They are also nicer to handle...

    Any good convertibles?

    Thumbs up to Ruger (PCC)

I've had one (PCC) on order for a month. I really don't mind being a beta tester for this carbine. It is only a plinker to me and I know Ruger will make it right if it needs work.

    Ruger SR9?

I have an SR9 and I am very pleased with it. Mine was test fired on 1-15-2008 and has none of the magazine problems that some have reported on earlier released pistols. I have been shooting it a lot since I bought it. I have a dozen 100 packs of WWB and at least that many reloads through mine...

Vihtavuori N-340 powder - wow, very clean burning!

N340 works great in 9mm. It meters perfectly through my Lee disk Pro, burns clean and works well with all the plated and jacketed bullets I use.

Ayoob Reviews the Ruger SR9 ...

I guess I'm one of the lucky people that really likes their SR9. I have 1500+ rounds through mine with no problems whatever. I have shot reloads in 115,124, and 147 grain with 0 ftf, fte, nada.:) My trigger felt pretty cruddy at first especially when dry firing, but it has smoothed out greatly...
