NH here... as far as protection... no restricted carry, except in courthouses. I applied for my permit online, and went and picked it up at the station 2 weeks later and paid a $10 fee. thats it. NH is very gun friendly.

that is great that the police department in that area keeps such great relations with their people, that they are willing to chip in and help keep their LEO's safe. unfortunately, there are a lot of departments out there with too many thugs with badges... and the majority of people wouldnt piss...
