A great resource that I have used is contacting the powder companies directly with what I am trying to load. They can usually help.

    .380 auto dies

Don't know about the RCBS dies, but I use the Lee dies for .380 and haven't had a lick of trouble. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=980287 http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=668253

Lee Pro Auto Disk and Ramshot's Tac

I don't use Ramshot powders, but I put an RCBS baffle in my Lee Pro Auto Disk and it smoothed out the metering of some powders.

    Lee Auto-Disk Question

If you have the pro model, give this a try: http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=493217 You have to bend it a tad, but it really helped mine with powders like Unique. 700X and 800X still meter like crap, though.

The Bear Creek bullets have not been dirty to handle for me. I have had good luck in .40 with them.

What is the benefit of Handloading?

As has been posted above, you can save a lot of money on individual rounds. You will not, however, save any money in the long run because you will find yourself shooting more for the same amount of money. I think the greatest asset to me, however, is the knowledge and understanding that I...

    Best Plated Handgun Bullets

I have tried both the Berrys and Rainers with good luck. To be honest, I can't tell too much of a difference between them. Berrys are a tad cheaper. I get mine from Cabelas. Some folks complain about accuracy problems with the Berrys in .40, but I haven't noticed any issues. My most...

    Question on metering Unique

On most powders I end up having to go one cavity higher than the lee chart. That is why it is critical to use your scale to verify charge weights. Too much over or under charge weight and you could be in for some serious trouble.

Brownells is awesome. Even if you just pay outright for the catalog. It's kind of like parts porn.

Recomend a good place to buy primers

Trouble is the service and hassle. My favorite local shops don't sell primers. The ones that do are a hassle. Either way to far away or poor service. I was going to be 4K yesterday, but after waiting about 20minutes I gave up. Powder Valley it is then...
