    I just picked this up today on a local deal. The picture does not do this pistol justice. It is perfect in every way. It does not look like it was fired since it left the factory. The serial number puts its birth date in 1976. I paid $500.00 for it which I think is a fair price.

    You have that completely backwards. The 1/7 twist rate was adopted to use the heavier 62 gr bullet.

    These are average 100 yard bench rested groups I get using a Aimpoint 2moa Comp M3 with green tip 62 gr milsurp ammo out of a 14.5" barrel. You can do better.
