sebastian.... perhaps off your line but......our government does not allow us to have weapons.....that is our right...and that right was recently affirmed. may seem a small distinction, but it is significant...

Check out the Savage Youth Model. I got one in .243 at age 57 but height 5'6". It is very comfortable, accurate, and has a great trigger....

Youth model as suggested. I am a short guy and really like a Youth Model Savage .243 I bought last year....Check it out....very comfortable..

Fat Tony....Give what you can comfortably afford. The NRA does have huge pockets already and no one should slight his family, IMO. At least, at this time. I send them what little I can.....may average 20 a month...But it is money well spent in my book.......

Texas Specific I have read that some Texas Cty Aty's are ignoring TX law and have issued orders to hassle citizens carrying firearms in vehicles... Just be aware..

CT, sorry you have chosen to leave TSRA. I still don't quite understand your argument. In my view, TSRA has done much to support RKBA and works hard to support state and local candidates that do the same. They support the national organization, the NRA, who lead the national battle. Besides...

CentralTexas, I guess I can't connect with your objection. Heller was long ago locked up at SCOTUS. I don't see much any progun organization could have done for the past few months to change the ultimate decision. So, TSRA went to other issues and concerns. Seems to me the jist of the "dog"...

Read his post carefully.... "Can I go to another state", "legal loopholes", etc. Sir, you choose to live where you are...You must abide by the laws there...There are no loopholes....Bothers me when some guy wants this forum to tell him how to circumvent his state laws. Is there another agenda?
