Future of the Beretta 92 Series

All the Beretta bashing...guess I got an anomaly. Picked up my new Gallatin made Beretta 92 Compact INOX M9A1 Monday. Gun Prime had this one listed on Guns International at MSRP and it quickly found a home. The fit and finish on this gun is pure perfection. I took it to the range for a...

New Beretta 92 Compact M9A1 Stainless

I've been looking for some time for one of these, they seem to be a rare model. The last two I saw on GunBroker were used and went for a premium plus price. I was surfing gun sites about a week ago and Gun Prime (Birmingham Pistol) had listed a brand new one on Guns International at MSRP. I...

I think I have caught it early enough, that may not be necessary.

    Question on Knife Repair

"Lexol is the best stuff I've seen for keeping leather from drying out. They have a conditioner and a cleaner best I recall. It was the conditioner I used. It worked wonders on an old dry knife sheath." - Bazoo. Thanks, just ordered some. Always in need of a good leather conditioner.

    Question on Knife Repair

Thanks everyone for your responses. I was able to contact the person who makes these knives in Germany. I have included his response. Short of totally destroying everything but the blade I guess it is what it is. Upside, the issue appears to be the leather spacers. I have been applying oil to...

    Question on Knife Repair

The only authorized U.S. distributor's website says they are out stock. Plus the latest ones I've seen do not have the stag this one does. Most of the knives of this type I've seen have a nut in the end that you can tighten with the right tool. I've not seen one like this. I'm thinking it...

    Question on Knife Repair

I have purchased a Hubertus Knife in like new condition off of Pinterest. The blade makes a slight pop if you push on it from the side (wiggles except for sound almost not visible). I think this is beyond my expertise to fix. Any suggestions or vendors who can do this.

    A Grande Christmas Present

My beautiful and thoughtful wife gave me a really great Christmas present. A late 1900s edition Linder Traveller (1980s + -). It came from a private collection and has never been used. The stag is exceptional on this knife and is of a grade hard to find on affordable hunter/utility knives these...

    2020 Python 4.25 or 6 inch?

I owned a 6 inch Python years ago. Got the 4.25 inch now. Both are great guns, but the 4.25 inch to me is a more user friendly gun in terms of EDC. It's easier to carry and conceal. Mine is and EDC. I changed the factory grips out for a smaller set of custom giraffe bone grips (service panel...

    Revolvers, a venerated option

I expected it to be a slow go. Coming along great. I've been extremely blessed. I had zero pain from the injury. Just some muscle spasms as it rolled up the arm. More annoying than painful. I had no bruising. The doctor said my surgery was a bad one, the muscle and tendon had rolled way up...

    Revolvers, a venerated option

"After all the surgeries and the cast finally came off, my right arm/dominant hand came out looking like a tiny emaciated t-rex arm" It does take it's toll. I'm learning patients, something I"m not good at.

    Revolvers, a venerated option

I've been an avid hand gunner for over 45 years. I started out shooting Second Generation Colt black powder revolvers, and quickly developed a love for both S&W and Colt .38 revolvers. Over time I added some SAA 45s and like most acquired some nice semi-autos. For the last couple of years I...
