Thank you for your reply. I will most likely send the info to Smith & Wesson with my check. I think this will add value for my son. Family artifacts are too often discarded because the next generation does not know the history of the item and thus the intrinsic value.
Thanks again,
Alan
This was my great Grandfathers gun. He was a south Alabama pastor in the 1910-1940 era. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I would check with a local gun club. Many of them have excellent youth shooting programs and hunter safety classes. You will most likely find a bulletin board with good deals on used equipment. I know that I am glad I got my son involved with a good club. Plus I made some good friends in the...

I saw it under the laws regarding "state of emergency" it says no one other than law enforcement is allowed to have a firearm in a public place during a state of emergency. Unfortunately I do not remember where i found it. I will post a link when I find it again. Thanks
First thanks to every one for a great forum. My question is this. I understand that when the Governor declares a state of emergency that concealed carry is no longer allowed but can you still carry in your car? ie. glovebox etc. Thanks.
I have one as well. Practice will be the key. That double action trigger pull takes some getting used to. I 2nd the above idea for lots of dry firing. The good news is that when you master this snubbie, you will notice a big improvement in your shooting with the bigger guns. Also try to...
you can also try champion shooters supply or champions choice. I think they will both be at Camp Perry this year. You can try the message board over at target talk. Lots of individuals with extra anschutz bits and parts. Also a great resource for the competitive small bore shooter.
Good luck
I shoot an STI Edge in 40 S&W. I find it very pleasant to shoot. My wife likes to shoot it :) ( she usually chooses it for our range trips) and she does not like to shoot any of the other 40 S&W's. The only negative would be the price. I think it was worth the money but I am a gun nut.
I have the NRA insurance which I purchased above and beyond the normal "free" policy. You should be aware that they will depreciate the value of your guns a lot when you make a claim(on the regular policy). I chose to get a stated value type policy and list each gun separately. I did this...
I am a newbie here on the forum. My suggestion is to look at an STI. I have 4000 rnds through my edge 40 and love it. It is a little pricey but you will notice the difference. Great forum. Godd luck with whatever you decide to get.:D
