I'm about to unitize my m14's gaz system and I'm wondering wether or not I should remove the shims I have placed earlier to shim the gaz system? I'm affraid the shims might melt during welding and leave a gap rendering both shimming and unitizing useless.

these are 5 mvp's... you can't really go wrong with any of these, just go with the best design you like. they all proved to be really effective (Altough I think HK is too expensive)

What are the advantages of the Glock safety? I don't fully understand even if I fired one once; Its not a real safety, I mean if you pull the trigger at any time the shot will go... also that means it won't allow speedshooting, will it? (since the trigger half release is the so called safety)
