Plus 500 rds on mine with Wolff springs. Blazingly accurate. If PA-63s were detonating after XX number of rounds, it would be all over the interweb. I don't believe I ever heard of a PA-63 catastrophically breaking.

A shop in the area has been selling these for $850. For $600 I probably would buy one but for $850.... I handled one and it seemed to be well built. Sights seemed straight and everthing locked up tight.

Other than higher prices they are a good company. It was recently sold but nothing seemed to change.

I would test fire the PA-63 but I'm sure it will be fine. Remember it's 9mm Makarov. I did polish my feed ramp as mine had the bumps. I never had any problems but did it since I sometimed use it as a CCW and wanted it as reliable as possible with HPs.

I would expect you to have good accuracy...for a mosin. Remember these were never built to be tack drivers. Most mosins will slug between .310-.314. My repro sniper slugged at .314 and holds 2-3" at 100yds with Czech light ball. Obviously working up a handload will dramatically tighten up...
