    P365 or Glock 43

Interesting question. I shot a friend's G43 a bunch before buying a 365. Glock feels slimmer, but that's expected. I prefer the 365's "standard" grip angle over the 43's, but I shoot a lot of 1911s; sorry, but Glock and 1911 are mutually exclusive in my book for that reason. 365 is...

    Berry's Bullets in my Glock

I have to ask, where are you buying jacketed bullets for the same or lower price than plated? To the OP: running plated bullets down polygonal barrels takes a bit more load development; keep after it, they shoot great.

.50 Beowulf Range Report Not encouraging.

IIRC, the 50 Beo headspaces on the case mouth, like a 45ACP. How's the crimp look on your duds and light-strikes?

    Ruger MkIII 22/45 FTF

When you build a gazillion guns at a low price, you can do two things. Build them loose so they run out of the box, or build them tight and let the owner break them in. Mark II's are in the latter category. Run a brick of ammo through the gun when it is lubed well (wet). Clean and then run...

How to Remove Front Sight from Ruger GP-100

Just above the muzzle there is a spring loaded pin. Push it in with a punch and the sight lifts out. You can see the diagram here: http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=1910zGP100

22 auto for my G/F to use

After years of "discussion" my wife finally agreed to learn to shoot; luckily there was a lady instructor teaching a class local. I, being the wise and experienced shooter, sent her to the class with a 22. She called halfway through the class and asked me what I shot. That night she came...

    cryo-accurizing. what is it

Yeah, I did it as a last resort to a light barreled (30-06) rifle that would wander after the first shot. Took care of that problem and the gun now holds POI regardless of the barrel's temp. FWIW, we used to cryo racing engine internals, blocks and heads; worked like a charm with...

    .44 Mag Shot Shells?

I make shells using 44 mag cases. You'll need .429 gas checks, fast powder and small (#9) shot Prime and drop in a light load of fast powder (I use 5gr of WST). Using another 44 case (sharpen the mouth edges to get a clean cut), punch wads out of light card stock. Drop the wad on top of the...
