Anyone heard the future of this new line? I assume they intend, if popular, to expand it. I will hold off on a new sub-compact if there are plans for an "M" series sub.

I also narrowed my search to these three. You can't go wrong with any other them, but weight was one of my deciding factors. I would have gone with the Glock but I found a barely used P2000 and went with that. I've been very pleased. Incredibly accurate and the weight is right.

My search for a CCW that meets that criteria led me to the HK P2000. It isn't the smallest or the lightest in the "compact" catagory, but it pretty close in both regards and an absolute pleasure to shoot. Carries well and I don't loathe practicing with it.

Go to the nearest BLM office and get one of their maps of the area. On mine, it looks like there is some BLM land south of town near Calapooia. If you take Willey Creek Rd north of town, you will hit some Willamette National Forest that should also yield some spots.
