I stumbled upon a few M52 38 spcl mags on E.bay recently. I just checked, they have some for the 38 spcl Colts as well.

No regrets selling most of the ones I've sold. Glock 17, XD-S, M&P 45 are three that I definitely don't regret selling. Sadly I bought the M&P new and sold it with less than 100 rds through it.

How's the thickness of the Thai grips? I'm trying to find something similar in feel to the Kim Ahrends grips, nothing I've tried seems to feel right. Pachmayr Renegade grips are close, they're just a little thick.

I've handled a few MKIVs and found the grip to be very uncomfortable. I'm a lefty and when the safety is disengaged it digs into the base/ knuckle of my trigger finger. If it is engaged and I try to sweep it off it goes down half way and digs into the top of the knuckle.

Going back to semi autos, an interesting Single action semi auto was the Radom P35, which was designed for the Polish Cavalry in the 1930s. It was designed with a slide mounted decocker and would be carried with the hammer down on a loaded chamber.

I never should have looked... I sold my 8" 617-1 years ago and regretted it almost immediately. I managed to replace it several years ago with a 4" 617-6, but it isn't the same.

I handled one of the new 66s a few months ago, definitely not anywhere near as nice as the old ones.

The 627 UDR (Ultimate Defense Revolver) is the same gun in .357 Magnum. I haven't carried mine, yet, but people do carry them. Weight wise it is about the same as a Government Model Colt.

The .40 Defender was only produced during the first year of production and has, predictably, become a collectors item. Nice to see that there is another option in small 9mm 1911 style guns.
