The most importaint part of a AR-15

Oh, and magazines are the most important because they're the most prone to problems. Without that magazine your fancy AR will only be a really accurate single-shot.

The most importaint part of a AR-15

Staying legal? Forget that. If you're going to stay legal, you best sell your AR right now, and get a lever-action. Then, before that's banned, you better sell that and get yourself an Air-Rifle. Then maybe a sling-shot for when they eventually take your pellet-gun away, as well. Grow a...

Which AR-15 would you choose - Noveske or POF

I'm going to disagree with most people here. I think a piston upper for an ar-15 would be a great idea, instead of going with the Masada, XCR, or FN-SCAR or any of the newest rifles of that kind, because of the wide range of spare parts and whatnot available for the AR-15 platform. I don't...

    Advantages of the FN FAL?

If ergonomics are more important to you than trigger or sight quality (and you'd be stupid to say "yeah, it is"), then a FAL is the rifle for you. Not to talk bad about the FAL, but it has a bad trigger and bad sights. It is very reliable, very rugged, and very powerful. But, truly, the M14...

    what's up with this market?

AR-180b or AR-180. You can find them for anywhere between 700-900, and I hear they are great rifles. The Provos loved em. They even made a song about them, "My Little Armalite".

    Question on a M1A sling

Is the web sling better, or is the leather 1907 sling better? I've looked at both, and the web sling must be detached from the buttstock to work correctly in the arm loop sling configuration, whereas the leather sling remains attached while in the arm loop sling. Comments?

    Question on a M1A sling

Wait, the guy in that video has the quick-adjust tab turned the wrong way, doesn't he? I have mine so that the tab opens down, away from the rifle, not up, towards the rifle.

    Question on a M1A sling

+1. USGI Web-Sling is an amazing piece of equipment for steady shooting at moderate to long ranges. Appleseed advocates the use of them over any other kind of sling. For carbines/CQB weapons, then a tac-sling is said to be the best. But, for the M1A, nothing beats the USGI web-sling.
