I just saw the new savage edge in 223,243, 22-250 and 308 with scope here in Oregon for $299.All the 770s I have seen fall well short of this rifle.http://www.gunblast.com/Savage-Edge243.htm
I've had this world class on my 93v17 for 4 years now. It's been great.http://www.opticsplanet.net/tasco-world-class-4-16x40-matte-vital-zone-500-30-30-reticle.html
I also had that problem but i found that if you push the spring and pin into the bolt and hold it with your index finger it will slide in with no problems.I put the bolt in my right hand palm and push the spring in with my left hand until the pin is about half way in the bolt. Then I us my right...
I would say get the savage and use the money left over for glass. The nice thing about the accutrigger is the fact that if the lightest setting is still to heavy you can cut a coil off the spring and adjust to your liking.
I bought the cricket for my 8 year old boy.It is the perfect size for a little guy,has peep sights and is accurate enough to make shotgun shells dance at 25 yards.
I bought this Tasco 6x24x42 so i could see the bullets hit at 50 yards. It works great for me and for only 69 bucks delivered you might give it a look.http://www.opticsplanet.net/tasco-6-24x42-targetvarmint.html
Their calling it a Howa ranchland combo. It's your choice of 22.250,.223,.243 or .308 with a Nikko Stirling 3-10x42 scope mounted (2 piece Leupold scope base) 20" free floating barrel. All for $429.Is this a good deal?
The only concern I have with the mach 2 is, will they keep producing ammo for it in years to come?Everyone I know shoots the hmr, which in Oregon is under 10 bucks a box and very abundant. Not so much for the mach 2.
The mach 2 is a 22 long rifle necked down to .17 and the hmr is a 22 mag necked down to .17.I have the hmr and am considering getting the mach 2 as well. The HMR ammo is $10 a box and the mach 2s are $7.I have the savage in hmr with the accutrigger.I cant believe how great the trigger is on this...
It sounds like it went in the lock out position.Mine has the auto stay open and a manual lock back position. When its in the lock out position just pull the charging handle back and to the right. This will release it to the auto open position. Then just hit the release. Its a safety:)
I bought the p22 because it was kinda cool looking, small and felt good in my hand and the guy at the gun store said the were great. After the looks and feel it just wasn't very accurate so I traded for the buckmark. It is almost perfect.Shoots almost any ammo with no problems. The only thing I dont...
I bought the cricket at wallyworld for my boy.I have to say it is perfect for a new shooter. It has a great little peep sight, built in lock on the reciever,it might be smaller than the red rider and is very accurate .In my opinion the bolt action is the way to learn. My 7 year old is hitting...
