wierd situation
Many years ago - before 9/11 but after metal detectors, I flew home for the holidays with a friends gun. It was a 18th cent flintlock pistol for which I was going to make a new mainspring. At the SF airport I handed my bag to the check-in agent and explained about the valuable...
You might be able to get more leverage on the sear
by moving the trigger back a little. Find out where on the trigger the sear hits and if repositioning the trigger will do it.
Zamak is an alloy of aluminum, zinc, magnezium and copper
and is used in quite a few firearms applications. Davis derringers were zamak with steel lined barrels. My Dillon loading machine is mostly zamak.
If revolution were the prerequisite to liberal gun ownership

with my 2 year old daughter. I noticed a very tall customer there but did not pay attention to him untill one of the salesmen said 'That's Chuck Conners' Wow. I set my daughter on my shoulders and went over to say hi.
Bonanza
Me and my brothers watched this every week. Lorne Greene was my grandfathers cousin. My father loved Have Gun Will Travel. I loved Laredo and Branded too.

At a pawnshop in Monrovia Ca there was a
Winchester 94. Octagon barrel, crescent but plate, barrel read 30 WCF. Price $120. The operator said it was so cheap cause they dont make 30 WCF ammo anymore!
I sometimes carry my Remmington O/U derringer.
It is .41 rimfire and not very powerful but it is the only thing I will risk carrying in my coat pocket. I actually had to pull it once when some begger kept trying to separate me from my kids 2 and 6.
I remember when Fed Ord had a barrel full of them
for around 100 per. They were the dregs deemed unworthy of restoration but they were complete. Most of the C96's in this country were imported from China where they were used for decades. China purchased them from Mauser and they have Chinese...
