    Left Hand 7mm-08

If I can find a Tika T3 lefty in 7mm-08 I think I'm in. He already loves to hunt and shoot. I think he will keep up with it and that's why I think I'll pass on some of the entry level guns. I'll make the investment now and keep it. Now I just have to find one. My second choice would be...

    Left Hand 7mm-08

I've begun looking for a left hand 7mm-08 bolt action for my son. Synthetic stock preferred. I can't seem to find many options. Remington makes a 700 SPS youth lefty but with my 700 now on its 3rd trigger I'm a little ticked at Remington these days. It also doesn't need to be a youth gun...

Deer Rifle for a 11-12 year old

My 11yo son uses a Remington Youth 700 in 7mm-08. Currently he uses Remington reduced recoil 140gr ammo to deer hunt with. Incrediblely low recoil. He only shoots out to about 100 yards for now and it has plenty of energy at that range. I got it because it's a gun that he can keep well into...

    Dominant eye vs dominant hand

I am working with my 8 yo son on shooting. It seems he is Left eye dominant. But he holds naturally holds the rifle Right handed. Is it easier to train him to hold left or sight with the right eye. Which is easier to change?Any help is appreciated.

    another stupid question

I have already sighted my rifle in for deer season. In the process I decided I wanted a trigger job to lighten the pull. My gunsmith is doing this for me. My question is when he takes the action off the stock the work on the trigger and then reassembles it, do I need to resight it in again...

    Kahr PM9 frame roughness

I recently got a Kahr PM9, my first polymer handgun. After about 300 rounds, roughly the break in period, I noticed that on the polymer part of the frame on the top where it contacts the slide there is a rough patch developing in a small section. With this being my first polymer gun, my...

    All Steel Commander Size 1911?

as to Dan Wesson CBOB..... that's how this started for me. I had just decided to buy one when the price jumped from around $1000 to $1300 and rising. I am eligible for the Smith and Wesson LE discount so i started looking at their commander size 1911s. They seem to get good reviews. They do...
