Does anyone know how to detail strip a Steyr M series? I have an M 40 that is getting pretty dirty and would like to strip it and clean the trigger components real well. It is not have any functioning problems I just like my guns really clean.

Just a guess as I have never had that much variance. Maybe you are expanding the case mouth to much and some of the bullets are slipping into the case before they are crimped. The bullet should have slight resistance, it shouldn't just fall into the case when set on top of it.

I have a M40 and the sights are alot easier to pick up than the standard three dots. I have shot it side by side with a G23 and there was a noticable difference for sight acquisition for follow up shots that may be do to the lower bore axis on the M40 though. As far as accuracy it impresses me...
