A string of firecrackers is usually faster and less 'regular'. Who sets off one string of firecrackers at 3am w/o yelling or whooping? I can't rule it out, tho.

You could get higher capacity than the 4 rounds the Ruger .44 auto allows (the original had a 5-shot tube mag) w/o worrying about rims in a box mag. Knox makes a drum conversion for tube-fed shotguns; how about a tube conversion that holds more than 4 for the Ruger .44?

Assuming they fired it at some point after leaving your house, they'd have to go thur the extra step of proving you were the one who loaded it.

sold mine I couldn't get to reliably fire .357s w/ lighter springs - the manufacturing tolerances made 1 or 2 cylinders not fire w/ magnum primers (the firing pin wasn't hitting hard enough). Since I intended it as a SD gun, that wouldn't work.

But you's still need to decide whether to buy a bull barrel before buying the stock.

Can you really buy a 10/22 stock w/o settling the barrel question first? It seems that there are different stocks required for different barrel thicknesses.

Does it feature the "wear the skin off your finger" horrible Taurus trigger? Can you do a trigger job or use lighter springs and still fire magnums?
